Legal Informers FAQ Help Center

No, Legal Informers does not provide personalized legal advice or create attorney-client relationships. We instead offer general legal information applicable for California to help educate you on legal topics. For personal legal representation, we can help connect you to attorneys in our network during consultation sessions but they will require formal contracts for that.

We accept all major credit cards and PayPal for purchases through our secure third-party processor. For larger transaction amounts, you can discuss alternate options with our billing department by emailing [email protected]. We do not accept cryptocurrency at this time.

To schedule a 30-minute consultation with our legal experts, visit the Services page and fill out the request form. If you want a specific specialty like family law or traffic violations, note that in your message. We’ll reach out to schedule a phone or video meeting that works with both your attorney’s availability and your time zone. We also provide live chat consultations.

We are open to expert contributor posts on various legal topics related to our site categories. Please send a short author bio and topic proposal to [email protected] for consideration. All articles must include full disclosure of authors’ expertise and any references to the contributor’s own legal services. We cannot publish guest posts from non-attorneys providing direct legal advice.

Absolutely, we welcome experienced licensed attorneys to apply to join our professional consultancy network, especially those with expertise in fields like family law, personal injury, employment law, tax law, traffic violations, and criminal cases. Please email your credentials and interests to [email protected].

For any transaction errors on our part like double-charging a purchase, we provide full and prompt refunds upon request. For paid services like consultations, our refund policies depend on the type and will be clearly stated before booking. Please check the individual service description for that policy. Unfortunately most booked consultations are non-refundable.

Every attorney contributor on our team has graduated law school, passed the California bar exam, and has years of professional legal experience. We thoroughly vet all legal experts before allowing them to provide any consultations or contribute content. This includes background checks, confirmation of bar membership, review of disciplinary history, and assessment of their specialty areas expertise.

We do not currently offer a mobile app version of our legal information website. However, our website is mobile-friendly and can be easily accessed from any device browser for your convenience. We are exploring developing a Legal Informers app in the near future to further help readers on the go!
